Godefroy Jordan, 49, is graduated from Institut d’Etude Politiques de Paris, with a Master in Economics (1991) and Marketing (1993).
He is CEO and co-founder of SmartHab, a Paris-based proptech startup developing a leading smart apartment solution for the real estate developers and promoting the HAB blockchain platform, a notary and data vault systems for IoT devices.
From 2011 to 2016 ha was CEO and founder of Starting Dot, a Paris-based registry operator owner of 3 new gTLDs licences to ICANN (.bio, .ski and .archi) and sold to world leader Afilias plc in 2016.
From 2006 to 2011, he was Deputy General manager of Spir Communication (annual turnover: € 650 m), in charge of the internet operations, publishing leading classified websites with an audience over 120 M page views / month (Logic-Immo.com, Topannonces.fr, Lux-Residence.com, LesBonnesPromos.com…). He is also publisher of the Logic-Immo magazines (1.3 M copies every 3 weeks, first real estate media in France) and of real estate websites in Switzerland, Belgium and Czech Republic. Since 2009, he was in charge of France #1 Google Adwords Reseller Partnership, with up to 2,500 active clients.
Internet pionneer in Europe since 1995, he has founded the web marketing agency Alpaga in 1996, sold to BBDO Paris in 1999. From 1999 to 2003, he has been CEO and chairman of B2L/BBDO (Omnicom Group), a leading web agency working for Chanel, Orange, Peugeot, Auchan, EDF, Mars, Unilever and awarded «french interactive agency of the year » in 2000.
He also worked as a start-up advisor, incubating many successfull companies, and participating to their fund raising, as board member of the seed venture fund Angel Invest from 2000 to 2003 (companies created or advised: Immostreet.fr, Evene.com, 2xmoinscher.com…). As Treasurer and board member, he participates to the work of the think-tank Renaissance Numerique, founded in 2005 by 80 digital French entrepreneurs and leaders.
